Lockdown Week 1, done and dusted!

Wow what a week! I loved this week and being able to learn more about the students, their hobbies and interest and seeing all the wonderful creations they have been making during this time.

We've had Dwayne and his whanau create an obstacle course.

We've had some students in class have a go at creating a bouncy egg, using vinegar (with some hilarious outcomes)

We've had shared reading sessions. These have all been recorded and are shared on our class site.

Tyson shared his amazing Lockdown hangout place of choice. This looks amazing Tyson, I can see why you enjoy spending so much time here.

And we've had games, including a memory game,  as well as a Nearpod activity and a scavenger hunt with Te Manga today.

Here are some of the pictures the students had to draw during their Nearpod activity.

And then of course we have our fabulous learners that have continued reading and writing and have earned their next certificate! Keep up the great mahi everyone!

Te Tinana's Class Assembly

We have been learning about the origins of our local tribe names. The students then retold some of the stories.

Please enjoy our assembly.
